| | Description | Crossfire has been an enduring name in paintball when it comes to compressed air tanks. The high quality tanks by Crossfire are already set for action to screw into any standard ASA (Air Source Adapter). The tanks are carbon fiber wrapped and one of the most durable and popular tanks used! Hustle Paintball sells these tanks all day long, and there's a long list of satisfied customers who love the improvement over CO2.
As you may know, CO2 is a typically in a liquid (very cold) state when it's inside your tank. However, compressed air is typically in a gas state (at or around room temperature). This means that compressed air doesn't have to undergo drastic temperature changes upon leaving the tank and entering your paintball gun, unlike CO2. Your seals and o-rings will thank you for relieving them of the undue stress that CO2 used to cause.
In addition, you can now use a paintball gun with an electronic solenoid valve. In the past, you wouldn't dare use a CO2 tank on your pneumatic paintball gun, for fear that liquid CO2 would get into the solenoid and expand, damaging an expensive part of your paintball gun. With compressed air, that problem is solved.
The Crossfire tank is available in both high pressure (800psi - Red) and low pressure output (450psi - Blue). Crossfire regulators have the fastest recharge rate on the market, which means zero ball drop-off. Your consistency over the chronograph will no longer be limited by your air system. If it's still inconsistent, then call Hustle Paintball and buy a better gun.
All Crossfire tanks come complete with a 14 month warranty. If you blow a burst disk or it leaks, just pay for shipping to Crossfire and they will service your tank and return ship it to you at their expense. Normal turn around on repairs is 48 hours after the tank arrives at Crossfire. | |

Great tank for the paintball lover Feb 21, 2008
By V. Chu I needed a bigger tank that will last during long games and this tank works great. It came as described. It was carefully packaged and shipping was fast.

By Jonathan Mettin A great investment for your paintball marker - the tank is fairly light but gives you a ton of shots with a full fill (i.e. to 4500 psi - some fields can only fill to 3000 psi, so check beforehand). Compressed air also is much more consistent than CO2.
DOROSPORTS RIPPED ME OFF Oct 10, 2011
By zach Item is listed as a new 5-year carbon air tank, but the date stamped on the tank I got is 08/10, so the tank is already a year old when I got it, which would make it a 4-year air tank. When filled and used for the first time, the burst disk blew out after two shots and emptied the tank. Took it to the pro shop, and they said the regulator is defective. Tank is useless right out of the box.
The worst part is that Doro won't accept my return since its past the 30 days. If you know anything about paintball, you know that only scuba shops and paintball fields can fill a 4500 psi high pressure output compressed air tank. These places are at least an hour drive away, and paintball is weather dependent, and it takes time to set up a day to go play. You can't just open the box and try it out on day one. Its illegal to shoot a paintball gun off in your backyard where I live, so the only option is a paintball field, which is only open on weekends, and depends on weather. By the time I got a day set up to go play at a field, it was over the 30 days return limit, and Doro will not work with me at all.
DO NOT BUY FROM DOROSPORTS, tank was overpriced (its listed for $135 from the manufacturer, silly me didn't shop around enough) and defective, and was already a year old even though they listed it as a NEW item.
