4Best Mask I've used  Jul 27, 2007 By E. Wieling
This mask has a lot going for it.
+ Excellent field of view through the goggles
+ Very comfortable with long term use
+ Great full head protection
+ Common lens (easy to find a replacement)

Things I don't like
- It is a difficult and time consuming process to remove the lens for cleaning
- Difficult and time consuming process to assemble the lens after cleaning

Overall it is a great mask for paintball.

4Great Protection  Mar 26, 2008 By Mathieu Bergeron
I'm very confortable with this on my head. I've received several shots and never been injured or having bruises. One thing, the lens didn't stand the fog.

3Flex 8 Review  Sep 21, 2007 By L. Romblon
Pros: Great looking mask. Very comfortable, light, wide range of view. Extremely flexible making it less prone to cracking which Ive experienced on my Headshield.
Cons(at least from the particular product I have in hand): Metal rivets as suppose to the plastic ones that came with my JT Headshield. These rust or at least they used to on the older generation Headshields. The second and last thing is that mine came with a hole on the visor for some reason. I cant figure out whether or not it's part of the design. Its a perfect circle but I have no idea what it could possibly be for.

5Full mask/head guard  Dec 19, 2008 By Herbert P. Wong "hacdata"
The only full head mask on the market, the mfg limited the mask at 300fps 10 feet impact and for paintball execise only. I intend to use this mask for airsoft playing. I tested the mask with the M4 380fps .20g bbs within 10 feet, not a dent on it.

5Used in all day Airsoft Event  Apr 19, 2011 By JB
I used this mask a few days after I purchased it in an 10 hour airsoft event, and it did not fog. The most I got was some perspiration on the lens after several hours of play, which all I did was wipe off with a rag and I was good for the rest of the day. The holes in the mask are significantly smaller than a 6mm BB so no fear for a BB slipping through. The field of view is superb. It is also not that wide, so I was able to see the sights in a MP5 with full stock, but not my MP5j which has a retractable stock. I can also use the sights on my m14 with slight difficulty, if you adjust the rear sight to raise it up it can be done somewhat comfortably. I will also say this about the mask, it is well ventilated and is quite comfy in my opinion.

For airsofting I have used safety glasses (don't recommend ever doing), ESS Striker goggles, JT Delta 2, various other goggles, etc. And I will say none of them worked this good. The safety glasses were not safe, the ESS goggles still allowed a BB to enter either through the foam or the side. Theres a rubber flap there, as it was not designed for airsoft, despite a lot of us prefer to use them for this. JT Delta 2, provided lack of face protection on the sides, and bad field of view 180 vs 260 which these have.

Pro's
NO FOG
Excellent field of view
Comfy
Well ventilated
Lower profile mask, allowing use of sights more often than other masks. Or at the very least allowing us to not have to raise our optics quite as high to use.

Cons
Bottom face/top helmet portion are not removable. So your limited to with or without visor for customization. Unlike my JT Delta 2, and other masks which your able to remove portions of the mask to be left with just the goggles if you wanted to.

*EDITED IN*
Had this for awhile now and used it on a lot of outdoor events. Will say that the anti fogging capabilities of the thermal lens is superb. At most I have got a few small patches of fog here and there in extreme conditions. But those clear up in a few seconds if I control my breathing, since it only happens only when I am breathing heavily when I stop. Which might happen to me a couple times in the course of playing all day. Though the other option to clear up the fog is to just move around a little bit as that will provide more than adequate airflow to clear it up as well. I have gotten a fan for this mask free from a friend, which remains largely unused. It's only real use is to turn it on once in awhile while were setting up for the next match to remind my friends I don't fog, EVER.

Full face/head protection is also a great thing about this, it just gets a bit difficult to know if you get shot on the top of your head you can't feel it. It is also quite slim in comparison to other full face masks and somewhat flexible. The top sunshade is great in my opinion, I have played on some very bright sunny days and never once had the sun in my eyes, or felt the need for a tinted lens. The pictures may decieve you as it looks too small to be of use but it isn't, as your eyes are a bit farther back because of the goggles.
