2Poor quality  Jan 09, 2009 By Chris J. Thomas
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Ncstar red dot sight is a cheap piece of junk. It has a cheap mounting system with cheap screws. It will work but I had to modify it with small pieces of rubber on the inside of the mounting rail to make it fit. I would suggest using another red dot site for you paintball marker.

3Extremely cheap optic, in both senses...  Dec 08, 2011 By Jared Wennstrom
...but exactly what I wanted. The very low price was what attracted me to this optic. It was purchased to attach to my son's Nerf rifle, and was done only for its aesthetic value (since a red dot sight on a Nerf gun is kind of a laughable proposition, anyway).

I would _not_ put this optic on anything over a .22LR firearm, and even then I would be extremely suspicious of it. The build quality is only marginally more sturdy than the Nerf rifle to which it is attached.

Bottom line: if you're into Nerf or AirSoft, this will make your gear look slightly cooler, but don't expect much in the way of performance or durability.

3Cheap Sight is Cheap  Jul 11, 2011 By J. Bahr
The body is really cheap plastic, the flip up lens covers fall off and the dot is a bit elongated. But, it is works well enough for airsoft and I don't have to stress the front lens being shot out as it was only $13.70. I would buy another for $14, but there are some much higher quality options to be had for $30.

1Total waste of time and cash  Jul 01, 2010 By Jess W.
Purchased one of these for mounting on my sons Ruger 10-22. When zeroing the sight, on the third shot, it broke, the dot went to the upper right of the tube, and would not correct. It was only rated one star, because Amazon won't let me rate it lower.

3Battery's drain  Mar 29, 2010 By John C. Hanson IV
This product is great. Drains batteries quickly though. Also if you have a 98 custom plan on getting an offset rail unless you have a mask that is really close to your face.
