I have seen tippmann grenades in use on multiple occasions when friends (or enemy teams) used them. For one it's a little more than other grenades in price, not that the average price of 6-8 bucks isn't bad even though you could get two BETTER grenades for that price. Tippmann grenades are excellent! (when they aren't duds). A tippmann grenade most people find is a dud 70% of the time. either it won't open up, doesn't spray correctly when opened or another symptom. On 7/10 occasions when I saw a tippmann grenade in use it didn't work. My friend and I were playing a game and he decided to throw it at my buddy on the other team. He took off the netting and threw the thing. Yes it opened, yes it bounced off the ground, NO IT DIDN"T GO OFF. For fun we did a water balloon toss for fun with the enemy team. On 3 occasions they dropped it and let it hit the ground, opened up and came out like a weak hose just dampening the ground. All in all buy a Wet Willie, Meteor Shower, or some other type of grenade because Tippy grenades most of the time doesn't give the bang for their buck. 1I agree with C. Blackford  May 18, 2006 By Rich Gal "Rogue Sniper"
Squad"Busted" Grenade!

Basically he said it all. I took 9 to a game and only 2 kinda worked. I have gone as far as slamming it on the ground repeatedly and it still would not go off. As far as Wet Willies, it went off in my hand. Pull rings are pointless. Metor Showers (If you can find them) or Atomic Big Boy's are the way to go!

1Horrible  Jul 09, 2006 By John Chernecky
this thing sux, DO NOT BUY. it spays 4 like a half second in a 5 foot radius if you are lucky, 75% of the time it didnt explode letting the other team pick it up and throw it back AND IT STILL DIDNT POP! Then when I got it back i threw it and got lucky and hit a rock to make it explode, that is the thing with these, they only go if your hit them on something hard, if they land on leaves or grass forget it, they arent going to explode. Not exactly what I would call a SQUADbuster, more like a BAD GRENADE! paintballs work better, lob them around and get better results. trust me

5best paint grenade ever  Jun 05, 2010 By Mom at home
This is the best paint grenade I have ever used. Its lightweight and not that big but big enough to throw paint in about a 10 ft radis. The only down side is that is if you use it in the cold you have to shake it for a while but other-wise it works really well.

2Good seller bad product  Jan 04, 2011 By True damiana
Simple ... The paint was dry and smells really bad. I was looking for an explosion of paint when I threw it but when it landed nothing happened. Maybe I got defective one but the grenade that I bough after this one also was a let down.it has a swirling effect good for getting a little paint on the enemies pants but ehh not the worst paint grenade but close to it
